Virtual Old Man of the Mountain is a tribute to the State of New Hampshire (USA) famous landmark. For 12,000 years, high above the Franconia Notch gateway in northern New Hampshire there was an old man, a series of five granite cliff ledges that appeared as the jagged profile of a face when viewed from the north. The Old Man fell during the early morning hours of May 3, 2003 after years of erosion, freezing and melting. Despite its fall, the Old Man of the Maintain remains an iconic symbol for the State of New Hampshire to this day.
